Yes, I am experimenting with yet another blog site at
gadgetdude.blogspot.com. It just provides better tools for posting and uploading photos. I can also freely edit the
HTML to include external tools such as
Blogrolling. The system is owned and run by Google, whose expertise is in web development, so I won't be surprised to see frequent enhancements.
Today I received the repaired Garmin StreetPilot III GPS back from the manufacturer. I sent it in for repair 2 weeks ago because it wouldn't turn on while running on battery. The shipping costed me $20, but fortunately Garmin agreed to repair it under warranty, which had actually expired.
With the GPS back I can now plan more camping trips. Can't wait...
I finally got a gmail account!! In general I like it. Its interface is not as fancy as Yahoo Mail or Hotmail, but it offers more geeky user controls such as keyboard shortcuts and raw email message. Its address book is super primitive though.

It doesn't really do much for me as I don't update my blogs that often and my blogs are not that popular. 
Everyday around noon ClearCase access slows down to a crawl. Today is no exception. I can type a ClearCase related command and wait for 2 minutes before anything even happens. Worse yet, I still have to do a global text search, meaning I have to access tons of files stored in ClearCase!
